I’m Mat North, a coffee professional since the early 00’s when I walked away from a PhD in Physics.

I’ve worked in large chains and ran small ones, sold frappes, blenders and syrups. 

Opened and sold an acclaimed coffee bar and roastery. 

Volunteered as the UK SCA chapter co-ordinator and judged filter coffee all over Europe. 

Now I for work in QC for a green coffee company and social enterprise. 

Oh and I wrote a book.
